Financial stability and reinvestment in the Black community is important. Investing in the community and letting money circulate is a way to strengthen neighborhoods. It also serves as the catalyst for making the kind of difference that leans toward stability within our neighborhoods. For these reasons, "buy Black" and "bank Black."

Harbor Bank (Baltimore, MD)

This Black-owned bank offers accounts (checking, savings, time deposits), credit cards, a debit card, and loans (commercial real estate, personal, home improvement, automobile, and other installment and term loans). The Harbor Bank primarily serves the Baltimore, Maryland area, but also has a branch in Riverdale, Prince George’s County, Maryland. |



First Independence Bank (Detroit, MI)

Established in 1970, this African-American owned bank strives to be a well-managed financial institution that's respected by customers, regulators and others in the finance community.
